The Korean name of the belt worn in the dojang is the "Dee". The color of the belt worn indicates the level of experience and skill of the practitioner.

	Never wash your belt - There is a lot of superstition about this, washing away spirit etc. plus they and not built for washing so the color will run.
	Make sure the ends are even - this signifies balance.
	As a point of humility don't were your belt in public (don't show off).
